In addition to the classic, full-surface wax lamination of paper with aluminium, GIKO also offers the possibility of partial striped lamination. This much more sophisticated partial lamination of aluminium with plastic opens up new possibilities in packaging. The composite foils produced this way are used primarily as twist foils in the high-quality sweets industry. Partial or full-surface hotmelt coating makes even paper sealable.

Instead of classic adhesives, pure paraffin is used as the adhesion promoter.
